Metallo-Supramolecular Cyclic Polymers
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2013Cyclic brush polymers represent an exciting new macromolecular topology. For the first time, this new topology has been combined with metallo-supramolecular interactions to construct novel cyclic brush polymers. Here, ring-expansion metathesis polymerization was used to synthesize a universal cyclic template with a polynorbornene backbone, which was ...

Characterization of supramolecular polymers
Chemical Society Reviews, 2012Supramolecular polymers are made of monomers that are held together by noncovalent interactions. This is the reason for the wide range of novel properties, such as reversibility and responses to stimuli, exhibited by supramolecular polymers. A range of supramolecular polymerization methods have been developed leading to a number of novel supramolecular

Cu(II)-Based Metallo-Supramolecular Polymers
2019This chapter introduces synthesis, properties, and device application of Ru(II)-based metallo-supramolecular polymer (polyRuL1-5) and the derivatives. Section 3.1 shows synthetic procedure of polyRuL1-5 by the 1:1 complexation of Ru(II) ions with bis(terpyridine)s (L1-5). Section 3.2 exhibits electrochemical and optical properties of polyRuL1-5.
