Information Transmission Strategies for Self‐Organized Robotic Aggregation

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
In this review, we discuss how information transmission influences the neighbor‐based self‐organized aggregation of swarm robots. We focus specifically on local interactions regarding information transfer and categorize previous studies based on the functions of the information exchanged.

Evaporation of Adherent Al-Films on Single Crystalline LiNbO3 Substrates

open access: yesActive and Passive Electronic Components, 1992
LiNbO3 is used as a single crystalline substrate material for the manufacturing of surface acoustic wave devices as frequency selective components. On the polished substrate wafer, Al with a film thickness of about 400 nm is evaporated in a high vacuum.

Visualization of acoustic fields in surface acoustic wave devices by means of X-ray topography

open access: yes, 1995
Reflection X-ray topographs from acousto-optic devices were measured under surface acoustic wave excitation. Enhanced sensitivity to small ultrasound amplitudes was achieved when the ultrasound wavelength was shorter than the X-ray extinction length ...
