Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Retrieval of Aerosol Optical Depth in the Arid or Semiarid Region of Northern Xinjiang, China
Satellite remote sensing has been widely used to retrieve aerosol optical depth (AOD), which is an indicator of air quality as well as radiative forcing.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Directional Applicability Analysis of Albedo Retrieval Using Prior BRDF Knowledge
Surface albedo measures the proportion of incoming solar radiation reflected by the Earth’s surface. Accurate albedo retrieval from remote sensing data usually requires sufficient multi-angular observations to account for the surface reflectance ...

Evaluating Environmental Weathering Effects on White Portland Cement using Hyperspectral Reflectance Analysis [PDF]
Cement is a primary binding material that plays a crucial role in construction. This study used hyperspectral reflectance analysis to investigate the spectral reflectance characteristics of White Portland Cement (WPC) exposed to environmental conditions.

Morphological and optical properties of porous hydroxyapatite/cornstarch (HAp/Cs) composites
This paper presents the correlation between the morphological characteristics and the diffuse reflectance (optical properties) of the porous hydroxyapatite/cornstarch (HAp/Cs) composites with various starch proportions (30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 wt%).

Ground Reflectance Measurements from Thematic Mapper Data [PDF]
Satellite radiance data are measures of solar radiation that has been reflected by the Earth's surface and scattered and absorbed by atmospheric gases and aerosols. Of concern to geologists are the surface reflectance and the degrading effects on surface

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.
