Beach Gold and Heavy Mineral Concentrates on Tiwai Spit Gravel Strand Plain, Southland, New Zealand

The Holocene Tiwai Spit on Foveaux Strait is a 12 km by 2 km gravel‐dominated strand plain, ∼10 m above present sea level. Gravel clasts are dominated by well‐rounded quartz cobbles, pebbles and granules derived from Otago Schist 200 km to the north in evolving river drainage systems during late Cenozoic.

Spatial variability of denudation rates and transient landscape adjustment in low‐deforming mountains (the Strengbach catchment, Vosges Mountains, France)

Erosion across the landscape is described at first order by a limited number (nine) of homogenous geomorphological and lithological domains. Morphodynamic adjustment in a watershed affected by megafires: Deadman River, British Columbia, Canada

The Deadman River watershed (British Columbia, Canada) was severely impacted by the Sparks Lake Fire in 2021. Timelapse photogrammetry reveals sharp post‐fire channel widening and increase in migration rate. Through multispectral remote‐sensing analysis, these morphodynamic changes are related to burn severity affecting the watershed.
