Topological Complexities of Surfaces
The sphere $S^2$ and the torus $T^2$ are the only closed connected surfaces for which higher topological complexities are known (for each $n\in\{2,3,...\}\subset\mathbb{N}$, $\mathrm{TC}_n(S^2)=n$ and $\mathrm{TC}_n(T^2)=2n-2$). This text aims to find topological complexities for most other closed connected surfaces.

Using atomic structure and local stability information, recombinant aciniform spider silk proteins are rationally engineered to incorporate a chemically switchable disulfide bond to prevent fiber formation. When disulfide‐locked, these proteins cannot form continuous fibers, whereas the unlocked (reduced) state can.

The non‐fullerene acceptor o‐IDT‐BT‐DCV is used in both binary and ternary blends to investigate the role that it plays in each device architecture. The charge generation pathways are found to differ between the binary and ternary blends with o‐IDT‐BT‐DCV becoming a second donor in the ternary blend.

Topological methods in surface dynamics
AbstractThis paper surveys applications of low-dimensional topology to the study of the dynamics of iterated homeomorphisms on surfaces. A unifying theme in the paper is the analysis and application of isotopy stable dynamics, i.e. dynamics that are present in the appropriate sense in every homeomorphism in an isotopy class.

Making Photoresponsive Metal–Organic Frameworks an Effective Class of Heterogeneous Photocatalyst
This review summarizes photoresponsive MOFs for photocatalytic applications, focusing on their capacity to enhance light harvesting, charge transfer, and surface reactions. While existing studies provide foundational insights, emerging characterization techniques enable a deeper understanding of photoresponsive MOFs.

The Topological Complexity of a Surface
Let $p$ be a branched covering of a Riemann surface to the Riemann sphere $\mathbb{P}^1$, with branching set $B \subset \mathbb{P}^1$. We define the complexity of $p$ as infinity, if $\mathbb{P}^1 \setminus B$ does not admit a hyperbolic structure, or the product of its degree and the hyperbolic area of $\mathbb{P}^1 \setminus B$, otherwise.
