Maximum surges in simple surge tanks
Canadian Journal of Civil Engineering, 1977Maximum upsurges and downsurges in simple surge tanks, resulting from linear decrease or increase in turbine discharge, gate opening, or power output are calculated in turn for simple surge tanks. Tunnel friction and velocity head are considered.

High texturising speeds have been achieved by using the friction texturizing system instead of spindlets. With the increase in yarn speed, the non-texbrred sections in the yorn have begun to occur. These faults are uery difPcult to control, repeat with a certain period and also produce faulb on the fabrics after dyeing.
