The problem of the actual insulation coordination for 500 kV with overvoltage in substations and the needed for more surge arresters in high voltage grid

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal, 2023
The new extra high voltage overhead lines and substations have increased the overvoltage phenomenon in the electrical interconnected system, especially in high voltage circuit breakers operate in a failure condition.

Efficient replacement of the radioactive sources in the gas-filled surge arresters construction for the insulation co-ordination at the low voltage level [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Technology and Radiation Protection, 2020
The possibility of the classical response rate engineering and the long-term deconditioning of the gas-filled surge arresters is considered in this paper. The obtained results are compared with the same results obtained with the gas-filled surge

ELECTRIC STRENGTH OF ARRESTER FOR LIGHTING SHIELDING OF 6-35 KV TRANSMMCSION LINE WITH LIGHTNING OVERVOLTAGE

open access: yesЗаписки Горного института, 2018
The most common device for protection against overvoltages is a valve-type arrester. Due to obsolescence it is proposed to replace valve-type arresters with nonlinear overvoltage limiters or multi-chamber arresters.

The evolution characteristics of leakage current in traction network surge arresters under complex operating conditions

open access: yesScientific Reports
Due to frequent load fluctuations, significant impacts, and substantial harmonic distortion on heavy-load railways, leakage currents monitored by surge arresters exhibit considerable variation.

Tumor‐Specific Delivery of CD28 siRNA via Lyso‐PC C‐16 Modified Lipid Nanoparticles Overcomes Anti‐PD‐1 Resistance by Remodeling Tumor Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops 16:0 LPC‐modified lipid nanoparticles (LPC‐LNPs) with cancer cell specificity by exploiting altered tumor lipid metabolism. LPC‐LNPs encapsulating Cd28 small interfering RNA (LPC‐LNP‐Cd28) knock down cancer cell CD28 without affecting T cells, inflame the tumor microenvironment, and overcome anti‐PD‐1 resistance.
