Contribution of Gli1+ Adventitial Stem Cells to Smooth Muscle Cells in Atherosclerosis and Vascular Injury

Gli1+ adventitial stem cells (ASCs) have been thought to generate smooth muscle cells (SMCs) in atherosclerosis. Using a dual‐recombinase lineage tracing to exclude ectopic labeling, Wang et al. found that Gli1+ ASCs do not contribute to SMCs in atherosclerotic plaques.

IL4I1⁺ Macrophages and TDO2⁺ Myofibroblasts Drive AhR‐Mediated Immunosuppression and Ferroptosis Resistance in Solid Predominant Lung Adenocarcinoma

Solid predominant lung adenocarcinoma exhibits an immune‐excluded, ferroptosis‐resistant niche enriched with IL4I1⁺ TAMs and TDO2⁺ myCAFs. Low YTHDC1 Expression Upregulates FSCN1 to Promote Nuclear F‐Actin Formation and Facilitate Double‐strand DNA Breaks Repair in TMZ‐Resistant Glioblastoma

This study revealed that low expression of YTHDC1 in TMZ‐resistant GBM cells leads to increased FSCN1 expression, which is suppressed by m6A modification. FSCN1 activates the CDC42/N‐WASP/Arp2/3 axis in the cell nucleus by recruiting the guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) family member FGD1, thereby promoting F‐actin polymerization in the nucleus.
