Rapid onset of intrapulmonary arteriovenous shunting after surgical repair of tetralogy of Fallot with pulmonary atresia

Cardiology in the Young, 2001
We describe a 2-year-old girl with tetralogy of Fallot and pulmonary atresia, palliated as a neonate with a right modified Blalock Taussig shunt, who developed severe cyanosis following total correction in the absence of corresponding evidence of parenchymal lung disease on the chest X-ray.

A new surgical approach to extensive arterial occlusion of lower extremity—Femoro-popliteal open endarterectomy with arteriovenous shunt

[Initial experiences with a modified surgical technic in applying Cimino-Brescia arteriovenous shunts].

Zeitschrift fur Urologie und Nephrologie, 1981
In 10 to 20% of the cases a primary failure of the arteriovenous fistulae for the chronic haemodialysis is to be observed. Therefore a modification of the operation technique after Cimino-Brescia is described. Taking its pattern from an internal ballooning of the vein by means of a Fogarty-catheter cited by Sung after application of a congestion at the
