Guided Surgical Debridement: Staining Tissues With Methylene Blue
Journal of Burn Care & Research, 2010Precise surgical debridement of wounds is required to achieve wound closure. The authors describe their experience with a technique using topical methylene blue to facilitate precise surgical debridement. In this technique, methylene blue dye is applied topically to the wound surface at the onset of surgery.
