A stress wave propagation model for coal‐rock combinations under in situ stress was established. Taking a coal mine in Huainan, China as the engineering background, isotropic and anisotropic numerical models were constructed. Field engineering practices were carried out to verify the reliability of the conclusions.

Petrography, thermobarometry, and pseudosection modelling reveal peak metamorphic conditions of 3–7.5 kbar and 520°C–800°C in Tonian‐Cryogenian orthogneisses of the Dom Feliciano Belt. Metamorphic field gradients of 27°C/km–39°C/km and variable exhumation mechanisms support correlation of these units as remnants of a Himalayan‐type Piratini Orogeny ...

Management of infected radicular cyst by surgical decompression
Treatment of maxillary incisor with an associated cystic lesion by conventional endodontic therapy combined with decompression is reported. Although small cystic lesions frequently heal simply with endodontic therapy, larger lesions may need additional treatment.
