Sulfation‐Tunable Peptide‐Glycosaminoglycan Hydrogels for Hematopoietic Stem and Progenitor Cell Expansion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Co‐assembly of rationally designed glycosaminoglycan‐binding peptides with sulfated glycosaminoglycans yields supramolecular hydrogels with tunable mechanics and matrix‐mediated cytokine retention. The glycosaminoglycans thereby act as cofactors, driving a coil‐to‐β‐sheet transition that triggers gelation.

Non-surgical treatment of peri-implantitis with the adjunctive use of an 810-nm diode laser

open access: yesJournal of Indian Society of Periodontology, 2013
An 810-nm diode laser was used to non-surgically treat a 7-mm pocket around an implant that had five threads of bone loss, BoP+, and exudate, and the patient was followed up for 5 years. Non-surgical treatment, home care reinforcement, clinical indices records, and radiographic examination were completed in two consecutive 1-h appointments within 24 h.

Comparison of labial frenectomy procedure with conventional surgical technique and diode laser

open access: yesIP International Journal of Periodontology and Implantology, 2020
High frenum is very common in function and esthetics. It is manage by procedure such as frenectomy and frenotomy. Most common is the conventional frenectomy which is done by the use of scalpel, now a day's laser is widely spread and can be used to perform surgeries. To compare the degree of postoperative pain experienced by patients during frenectomy ...

Surgical management of neurofibroma of gingiva with diode laser: A case report

open access: yesArchives of Dental Research
Gingival involvement by solitary neurofibroma without any other signs of neurofibroma is uncommon. It is often considered as a benign tumor with an unknown etiology. In this case report we present an unusual case of solitary neurofibroma of gingiva. A 33 year old female patient was presented with swelling in relation to her lower front teeth.

High Light Utilization and Color Rendering in Vacuum‐Deposited Semitransparent Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, low bandgap (≈1.55 eV) semitransparent perovskite solar cells (ST‐PSCs) having thin (thickness < ≈100 nm) perovskite layers and transparent conductive oxide‐based rear electrodes are fabricated using vacuum‐deposition methods. Two different ST‐PSCs demonstrated a high light utilization efficiency value of 4.2 (PCE: 9.26% and AVT: 45.3 ...
