Injectable Hydrogel with Rapid Coagulation, Low Swelling, and High Burst Pressure Tolerance Properties for Long‐Term Management of Bleeding Wound

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An injectable PACmC hydrogel with “rigid island‐flexible chain” architecture is developed, featuring low swelling (49.2% within 7 d), strong wet adhesion (46.5 kPa), and high burst pressure (701 mm Hg), which can achieve rapid hemostasis and long‐term sealing in rabbit and porcine models of hepatic and splenic hemorrhage.

Efficacy of Endoscopic Evaluation and Hemostatic Intervention for Post-hemorrhoidectomy Bleeding

open access: yesJournal of the Anus, Rectum and Colon
Achieving hemostasis during post-hemorrhoidectomy bleeding (PHB) is often challenging owing to poor visibility within the anal canal. We investigated the feasibility of using endoscopy for observation and maintaining hemostasis during PHB.

Aptamer‐Directed Porous DNA Nanocomposite Hydrogel for Active Pulp Preservation: Immunomodulation, Stem Cell Recruitment and Reparative Dentinogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents an injectable DNA‐based porous hydrogel integrating catechol motifs and targeting aptamers for pulpitis management. Upon in situ crosslinking, the scaffold actively recruits endogenous dental pulp stem cells, restores redox homeostasis, and modulates immune responses.

External genital endometriosis post-surgery hemostasis parameters

open access: yesАкушерство, гинекология и репродукция
Introduction. Endometriosis is one of the common diseases with poorly elucidated underlying nature and pathogenetic mechanisms. Clinical trials suggest that women suffering from it have hemostasis disorders.

Brown Adipocyte Sheets Alleviate Myocardial Ischemia–Reperfusion Injury Through NRG4–ErbB4–Dependent Ferroptosis Inhibition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Brown adipocyte sheets are engineered to protect the heart against myocardial ischemia–reperfusion injury by restraining ferroptosis. Upon transplantation onto the cardiac surface, they improve cardiac function, limit infarction and fibrosis, and enhance angiogenesis.

A Bone Marrow–Mimetic Hydrogel Enables Dual‐Phase Hemostasis and Vascularized Osteogenesis for Cranial Defects

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A biomimetic, fiber‐reinforced hydrogel (FE‐PDA@Fib/Gel‐TG) that enables dual‐phase cranial defect repair. The system provides: instant hemostasis in the early stage, and sustained co‐delivery of pro‐angiogenic and osteogenic signals for synergistic vascularized bone regeneration.

A randomized controlled trial of trigger finger release under digital anesthesia with (WALANT) and without adrenaline

open access: yesJournal of Orthopaedic Surgery, 2019
Background: Trigger finger release utilizing wide-awake local anesthesia no tourniquet (WALANT) usage in extremity surgery is not widely used in our setting due to the possibility of necrosis.
