Probing Electrocatalyst Design for Product Selectivity in CO2 Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Selective CO2 electroreduction is controlled by catalyst structure, dynamic surface reconstruction, adsorbate interactions, and reaction microenvironment. This review summarizes Cu‐ and non‐Cu‐based catalysts, single‐atom and molecular systems, degradation pathways, and operando/computational strategies for steering CO2RR toward hydrocarbons ...

Wake‐Up and Fatigue under Electrical Cycling in HfO2‐Based Ferroelectrics: Mechanisms and Strategies toward Reliable Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
HfO2‐based ferroelectrics exhibit wake‐up and fatigue behaviors during electrical cycling, significantly affecting device endurance and reliability. These phenomena are governed by defect dynamics, including oxygen vacancy redistribution and charge trapping.

Urinary Retention as the Only Symptom of Retained Surgical Sponge (Gossypiboma), 29 Years After Cesarean Procedure

open access: yesUrology Case Reports, 2017
A 68 year old lady presented to urology department suffering from acute urinary retention. The U/S revealed hydronephrosis in left kidney and a mass at the left side of the small pelvis which pushed forward the uterus and the bladder.

A shape memory composite sponge loaded with kaolin for non-compressive traumatic hemostasis

open access: yesMaterials & Design
Effective bleeding control is crucial in surgical procedures and trauma management to ensure patient safety. However, most currently available hemostatic materials perform poorly in cases of noncompressible bleeding.

Genome‐Wide and Multi‐Omics Analysis Identified DNA‐Interacting Circular RNA circFOXK2 as MLL1 Regulator for Histone H3K4 Methylation in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Circular RNA circFOXK2 is frequently upregulated in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma to promote tumor heterogeneity, growth, and metastasis. Through circRNA‐DNA interaction at different genomic locations, circFOXK2 removes the PPIE inhibitory effects on MLL1 for gene‐activating H3K4 methylation of the oncogenes.
