Non-Colocated path tracking in crane suspended loads

2013 IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics (ICM), 2013
This paper proposes and validates experimentally a non-time based scheme for the non-colocated path tracking control of a crane suspended load. The controller is named Delayed Reference Non-Colocated Control (DRNC) and extends the idea of the Delayed Reference Control (DRC) schemes.

Continuous Suspended Load Sampler

1989
Knowledge of the response of sediment particles to the hydraulic forces produced by shoaling waves is essential in studies of both large and small scale sedimentation patterns along sandy coasts. While accurate fluid-flow measurements are possible in even the most energetic nearshore waters because of technological advances in commercially available ...

Suspended sediment load of Bulgarian rivers

GeoJournal, 1996
In 1951–52, a nationwide sediment gauge network was initiated in Bulgaria. In 1992–93 a Computerized Information Base of Sediment Data for the Bulgarian rivers was developed. Some analysis has shown that the long term sequences of the annual suspended sediment load of the rivers are not homogeneous. The period 1980–90 has received special attention due

Suspended Load in Bhagirathi River System

Journal of the Hydraulics Division, 1972
The topic of this technical note is the suspended load-discharge relations. The relationships of measured suspended load and discharge for the Bhagirathi River in India are presented. Sediment samples were taken, and an analysis was made of the combined samples.

Suspended Load from Error-Function Models

Journal of the Hydraulics Division, 1979
Models for the vertical distributions of flow velocity and sediment concentration based on the assumption of an error-function distribution of turbulent diffusivity are used in calculating the suspended-load discharges for two sets of flume data. The flow and sediment variables required for the calculation procedure are the mean flow velocity, flow ...

Estimation of suspended-sediment rating curves and mean suspended-sediment loads

Journal of Hydrology, 1991
Suspended-sediment loads are often estimated from an empirical relation between suspended-sediment load (L) and streamflow (S). This relation is usually defined as a power function, L = aSb, and is referred to as a suspended-sediment rating curve. This function can be formulated as either a linear or non-linear model to find the solution of the rating ...
