Estimating Suspended Sediment Concentration by a Neaural Differential Evolution and Comparision it with ANFIS and RBF Models (Case study : Givi Chay River ) [PDF]
In this study, neural differential evolution (NDE) models were used to estimate suspended sediment concentration. NDE models are improved by combining two methods, neural networks and differential evolution.

Efficiency of suspended sediment recovery in the downstream reaches of the Three Gorges Reservoir
In the riverbed erosion process caused by unsaturated water and under the influence of multiple factors, the process of suspended sediment recovery along the downstream reach of a dam is quite complex.

Suspended sediment modeling by SVM and wavelet [PDF]
Present-day advances in artificial intelligence, as a forecaster for hydrological events, have led to numerous changes in forecasting. The wavelet support vector machine (WSWM) model is achieved by conjunction of the wavelet analysis and the support vector machine (SVM).

Dynamic Characteristics of Suspended Load and Bed Load Transport in Meltwater Runoff of Qiyi Glacier
[Objective] The transportation of sediment via glacial meltwater can not only reflect the glacial erosion and landform evolution, but also is one of the important sediment sources for the downstream river.

LONGSHORE TRANSPORT OF SUSPENDED SEDIMENT
In excess of 800 suspended sediment samples were collected from stations along the City Pier, Ventnor, New Jersey and Jennettes Pier, Nags Head, North Carolina using a tractor-mounted pump sampler. Most samples were collected within the surf zone at the Ventnor site.
