An Engineered Living Material With Pro‐Angiogenic Activity Inducible by Near‐Infrared Light
NIR‐responsive engineered living materials (ELMs) for controlled angiogenesis: Near‐infrared (800 nm) light activates engineered probiotic bacteria within alginate‐based living materials to secrete a blood vessel‐regenerating protein. The released protein promotes pro‐angiogenic effects in endothelial networks and chick chorioallantoic membranes.

Hydrological factors influencing sediment concentration fluctuations in small drainage basins [PDF]
Although sediment concentrations measured in two contrasting streams in East Yorkshire fluctuate in response to similar hydrological factors, the effectiveness of these factors reflects the environmental characteristics of the drainage basins ...

Sensorized Engineered Tissues with Built‐in Thermoregulation and Nutrient Supply
This work introduces a granular hydrogel‐based tissue engineering platform that includes a closed‐loop temperature control to maintain 37°C and sustainably releases nutrients, thereby enabling cells to retain a high viability even if stored at room temperature for up to 24 h.

Aerial Photo Utilization in Estimating Suspended Sediment in the Wuryantoro Watershed, Wonogiri
Suspended sediment load flowing out from a watershed is normally predicated by analysis os suspended sediment of water sample, and the volume of suspended sediment be calculated based on sediment concentration and river discharge. Such field measurements

Shaping of Biohybrid Functional Living Materials
This work demonstrates a strategy for shaping living mycelium into functional materials by directing its natural growth. Nanoparticles armor hyphae, micron‐scale particles entangle within the network, and printed hydrogel architectures steer expansion, creating defined geometries.

Parallel 3D Bioprinting on SLIPS‐Microarrays
This work introduces the first truly parallel 3D bioprinting method, enabling both the simultaneous fabrication of hundreds of cell laden hydrogel 3D structures and their HTS in individual liquid compartments. By integrating Digital Light Processing (DLP) stereolithography with functional micropatterns, the platform decouples printing time from array ...

Dispensing Volumetric Additive Manufacturing
Dispensing volumetric additive manufacturing (DVAM) prints 3D structures inside a photocurable resin droplet suspended from the tip of a glass pipette, enabling sequential printing without resin vats or manual part removal. Real‐time droplet profiling and ray‐tracing‐based correction compensate for optical distortion at the curved resin‐air interface ...
