A hybrid PV–wind grid‐connected microgrid for Mongla Port is optimized using HOMER Pro and validated via DIgSILENT quasi‐dynamic load flow. The system achieves a low cost of energy (0.0341 USD/kWh), 70.9% renewable penetration, improved voltage stability, and significant emission reduction, demonstrating a reliable and cost‐effective solution for ...

ABSTRACT Land degradation is a critical global challenge, threatening biodiversity, food security, and livelihoods. Ecological restoration has therefore become a priority, with aerial seeding emerging as a key method to address issues of scale, accessibility, and efficiency. By dispersing seeds from aircraft or drones, aerial seeding complements ground‐

Demand‐Driven Mergers: Advertising, Differentiation, and Welfare
ABSTRACT We consider mergers that induce demand changes. We study the firms' incentives to submit a merger request and the competition authority's decision to approve the request. We show that merger‐induced demand changes help expand settings where the interests of firms and competition authority align, whereas contexts where their interests are ...

Butanol for sustainable aviation [PDF]
Butanol is a four-carbon alcohol suited for the production of road and jet fuel. The ATJ-SPK (alcohol-to-jet synthetic paraffinic kerosene) pathway aims to obtain paraffinic kerosene from C2-C4 alcohols. The ASTM already approved the pathway for iso-butanol and ethanol with a blending certification of up to 30% and 50%, respectively.
