Entropic measures of individual mobility patterns

open access: yes, 2013
Understanding human mobility from a microscopic point of view may represent a fundamental breakthrough for the development of a statistical physics for cognitive systems and it can shed light on the applicability of macroscopic statistical laws for ...

Rational Device Design and Doping‐Controlled Performance in Fast‐Response π‐Ion Gel Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
π‐Ion gel transistors (PIGTs) achieve extraordinary transconductance and stability through device configuration optimization, high‐mobility conjugated polymer selection, and hole scavenger doping. The optimized PIGTs maintain performance on flexible substrates, enabling printed, fast‐response, and wearable electronics.

Understanding and Tuning Mobile Interfaces in Ferroelectric Hf0.5Zr0.5O2 Thin Films in Relation to Microstructure

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ferroelectricity in thin HfO2‐based films offers great possibilities for next‐generation neuromorphic memory devices. There, the response to subcoercive voltage signals is driven by the movement of mobile interfaces and their interaction with crystal defects – a yet rather unexplored aspect, which we shed light on and gain new insights into the complex

Bio‐Orthogonally Crosslinked Supramolecular Polymer Bottlebrush Hydrogels for Long‐Term 3D Cell Culture

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Fibrous benzenetrispeptide (BTP) hydrogels, fabricated via strain‐promoted azide‐alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) crosslinking, form robust, bioinert networks. These hydrogels can support 3D cell culture, where cell viability and colony growth depend on the fiber content.

Vehicle-to-Grid - What is the Benefit for a Sustainable Mobility? [PDF]

open access: yes
The demand for vehicles in industrialised countries is dropping and the growth rate in developing countries is slowing down rapidly. Driver of this evolution is evidently the current crisis but also the expectation that in the long run oil will not be ...

The Challenging Path to a Redistribution of Space – Renegotiating Urban Mobility [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The (rapid) growth of cities and city populations in many regions of the world puts a focus on the question of accessibility (use and distribution) of urban space.
