Our coaxial electrospinning system is capable of incorporating decellularized myocardial extracellular matrix in a core‐sheath configuration, creating nanofibrous scaffolds. These scaffolds, in turn, support the maintenance of functional cardiomyocytes adhered to the surface of these bioactive scaffolds.

Is the observed lowering of intraocular pressure due to treatment?
Objective: Use Bayes′ theorem to estimate the intraocular pressure (IOP) lowering effect of medical treatment initiated for glaucoma and determine if IOP comparisons to the baseline IOP of the same eye is clinically useful.

Comparative analysis of 6-0 nylon and 6-0 vicryl rapide in congenital unilateral cleft lip repair
Context: The type of suture material used in surgery has been a long standing debate among surgeons. In this study we compared rapidly absorbable suture material (Vicryl Rapide TM or Irradiated Polygalactin 910) with non-absorbable suture material (Nylon

[Endoscopic sutures offer more surgical options]
Endoscopic sutures can be used in various clinical situations where closure or fixation is needed. Stents that migrate and dislocated probes can be fixated by endoscopic sutures. The sutures can be used to stop gastrointestinal bleeding.

Atomic Layer Deposition Processes: Versatile Platforms for Engineering ZnO‐Chitosan Biointerfaces
Vapour phase metalation (VPM), multiplied pulsed vapour phase infiltration (MPI), and O2 plasma‑enhanced atomic layer deposition (PEALD) tailor Zn–chitosan (Zn‑CS) films. PEALD improves wettability and biocompatibility. MPI enhances semiconductor behavior. Antiseptic selectivity: VPM → E. coli; MPI → H. pylori.
