Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on High Performance Compilation, Computing and Communications, 2019
Network traffic measurement is a fundamental part of many network applications, such as DDOS detection, capacity planning, and quality-of-service improvement. To achieve this, we need to count the number of packets passed during a past time interval. Traditionally, switches sample the packets and send them to the CPU for analysis.

PageSeer: Using Page Walks to Trigger Page Swaps in Hybrid Memory Systems
International Symposium on High-Performance Computer Architecture, 2019Hybrid main memories composed of DRAM and NonVolatile Memory (NVM) combine the capacity benefits of NVM with the low-latency properties of DRAM. For highest performance, data segments should be exchanged between the two types of memories dynamically—a ...

Pricing variance swaps under the Hawkes jump‐diffusion process
Journal of futures markets, 2019This paper presents an analytical approach for pricing variance swaps with discrete sampling times when the underlying asset follows a Hawkes jump‐diffusion process characterized with both stochastic volatility and clustered jumps.
