Boussinesq Modeling of Alongshore Swash Zone Currents
2004Abstract : The long-term goal of the study is to develop and integrate numerical models for the understanding and prediction of nearshore processes. The focus of the project is to develop the capability of modeling alongshore swash currents under field conditions based on Boussinesq-type formulations and field observations.

New Swash Plate Damping Model for Hydraulic Axial-Piston Pump
Journal of Dynamic Systems, Measurement, and Control, 1999A new, open-loop, reduced order model is proposed for the swash plate dynamics of an axial piston pump. The difference from previous reduced order models is the modeling of a damping mechanism not reported previously in the literature. An analytical expression for the damping mechanism is derived.
