Transferability of SWAT Models between SWAT2009 and SWAT2012
Journal of Environmental Quality, 2014In recent years, the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) has experienced upgrades with enhanced functionalities and modeling capacities as it gets to the current version, SWAT2012. Changes in the SWAT code on a specific process may result in propagating influences in the output of other related processes.

Modeling of a River Basin Using SWAT Model
2018In the present study, process-based rainfall-runoff model namely Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) was calibrated for Manimala River basin in Kerala, with a catchment area of 780 km2. The observed data of rainfall-runoff for a period of 8 years 2000–2007 were used for calibration and validation of the basin.

AbstractThe Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model (Arnold et al., 1998) is a popular watershed management tool. Currently, the SWAT model, actively supported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Texas A&M, operates only on Microsoft® Windows, which hinders modelers that use other operating systems (OS). This technical note introduces the

Hydrological modelling of ungauged urban watershed using SWAT model
Modeling Earth Systems and Environment, 2017The effects of urbanization on hydrological processes and water resources have been quantified and predicted by detailed characterization and modeling of the affected urban area. The model of the soil and water assessment tool (SWAT) has been selected to test its applicability in ungauged urban watershed of Vadodara city, Gujarat India.

Simiyu River catchment parameterization using SWAT model
Physics and Chemistry of the Earth, Parts A/B/C, 2007Abstract The paper presents advances in hydrologic modelling of the Simiyu River catchment using the soil and water assessment tool (SWAT). In this study, the SWAT model set-up and subsequent application to the catchment was based on high-resolution data such as land use from 30 m LandSat TM Satellite, 90 m Digital Elevation Model and Soil from Soil ...

Development of the Integrated SWAT-VFSMOD model
2010 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, June 20 - June 23, 2010, 2010Because of negative impacts of sediment-laden water by accelerated soil erosion and transport processes, many researchers have been investigating to develop most effective soil erosion management practices. Hydraulic structures such as soil erosion control dams and grit chamber are installed widely.

Modified Channel-Routing Scheme for SWAT Model
Journal of Hydrologic Engineering, 2018AbstractBecause of its relatively easy quantification in comparison with the variables of other hydrological components, streamflow is an important and primary component for modeling in a watershed...
