What the Eyelid Can Tell You: The Unexpected Initial Presentation of De Novo Stage IV Breast Carcinoma

HPV42 – a human papillomavirus classified as a low‐risk type with oncogenic potential

Summary Human papillomavirus (HPV) type 42 is a rare HPV type currently classified as “low‐risk” and belongs to the alpha genus. It has primarily been detected in benign vulvar papillomas and is predominantly associated with benign lesions such as anogenital warts.

RB1 inactivation in cutaneous carcinomas

Among skin carcinomas, recurrent RB1 inactivation is observed in Merkel cell carcinoma, in a subset of squamous cell carcinoma with bowenoid morphology, in sebaceous carcinoma and in the recently described Wnt/beta‐catenin rosette‐forming carcinoma.

In‐vivo pilot study to assess a new plant‐based cosmetic formulation containing Ziziphus joazeiro bark extract and Apium graveolens seed extract for the improvement of dandruff while enhancing scalp microbiome balance and barrier function in subjects with oily to dry sensitive scalps

This study comprising dermatological as well as microbiome analysis indicates that mild‐to‐moderate dandruff symptoms can successfully be reduced with a plant‐based shampoo by restoring the bacterial scalp microbiome balance, suggesting a ‘microbiome‐friendly’ formulation tolerated excellently for oily scalp and sensitive scalp.

CCR4 was expressed in malignant clones and regulatory T cells in untreated CTCL, that were decreased in MAR. Malignant clones in MAR showed a silenced phenotype with decreases in central memory markers SELL and CCR7, and GTP‐binding member GIMAP7 and upregulation of MMP2 inhibitor TIMP2 and tumour suppressor gene RUNX3.
