Sweat Gland Tumor Microenvironment

2020
Malignant sweat gland tumors are rare cutaneous neoplasms and associated with poor prognosis. The process of tumorigenesis originating from sweat glands is complex and dynamic. Eyelid tumors of sweat gland origin

Albrecht von Graefes Archiv fr Klinische und Experimentelle Ophthalmologie, 1981
Tumors of sweat gland origin are not uncommon in the periocular region. These tumors frequently pose diagnostic difficulty due to the wide range of histopathological patterns, and to the fact that they may be infiltrative or have metastatic potential despite their relatively benign appearance.
