PEDOT‐Based Eutectogel Electrode Arrays for Enhanced High‐Resolution Electrogastrography: Fabrication, Stability, and Wearable Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Here, we present a high‐density PEDOT eutectogel electrode array for enhanced body surface gastric mapping. Silver electrodes are blade‐coated onto flexible substrates, followed by electrogelation of PEDOT:PSS and the deposition of a PEDOT:LS eutectogel.

Self‐Powered Permeable Electronic Dressing for Exudate Management, Electrostimulation and Drug Delivery in Chronic Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study develops a self‐powered permeable electronic dressing (SPED) that synergistically integrates exudate management, electrical stimulation, and on‐demand drug delivery. The dressing effectively absorbs exudate while demonstrating potent antibacterial activity and accelerated tissue regeneration in diabetic mouse models, thereby promoting ...

Investigating the Excessive Sweating Induced by Aripiprazole: Two Case Reports [PDF]

open access: yesPharmaceutical and Biomedical Research
Background: Many drugs, including antipsychotics, cause an adverse effect, such as excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). Hyperhidrosis occurs by drugs that act on the thermoregulatory centers in the hypothalamus, spinal, and sympathetic ganglia or on the ...

Synergistic All‐in‐One Electroceutical Platform Utilizing a Plasma–Photodynamic Hybrid Approach for Enhanced Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A flexible hybrid patch integrating a robust cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) system with a high‐power, ultrathin bio‐OLED was developed to enable synergistic wound healing. This multimodal therapy, combining plasma and photodynamic treatment, enhanced angiogenesis, cell proliferation, and collagen deposition, demonstrating superior in vivo efficacy and ...

Abnormal Axon Reflex-Mediated Sweating Correlates with High State of Anxiety in Atopic Dermatitis

open access: yesAllergology International, 2012
Background: Sweating plays a key role in skin homeostasis, including antimicrobial and moisturizing effects, and regulation of skin surface pH. Impaired axon reflex-mediated (AXR) sweating has been observed in patients with atopic dermatitis (AD ...
