There is a large water storage tank installed at the top of containment of AP1000, which can supply the passive cooling. In the extreme condition, sloshing of the free surface in the tank may impact on the roof under long‐period earthquake. For the safety assessment of structure, it is necessary to calculate the impact pressure caused by water sloshing.

Frequency and time fault diagnosis methods of power transformers
The authors describe experimental and theoretical analyses of faults of power transformer winding. Faults were caused by mechanical effect of short-circuit currents. Measurements of transformer were carried out in high-voltage laboratory.

Abstract This paper presents how interpretation of Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA) traces can be done for the open circuit and short circuit winding faults on the 10 kV A power transformer. The power transformer of rating 10 kV A, 11,000 V/440 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz, Dyn11 has been specially developed in-house for carrying out SFRA testing by ...

This paper presents how multiple winding faults can be detected by Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA). The test methods used by the authors for presenting the results are described. The Short Circuited Turns Fault on HV "V" phase winding and Earth Fault on LV "V" phase winding have been practically simulated simultaneously on the 10 KVA, 11000 V /

FAULT DETECTION USING FRA IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE AGING MODEL OF POWER TRANSFORMER [PDF]
Power transformers are constantly exposed to mechanical, thermal and electrical stresses during operation. In this paper, the authors propose an improved aging model of power transformers by adding the impact of mechanical deteriorations.
