CHOROIDAL GRANULOMAS VISUALIZED BY SWEPT-SOURCE OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY ANGIOGRAPHY

Retina, 2020
Purpose: To assess the visualization of choroidal granulomas with swept-source optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA). Methods: Consecutive patients with granulomatous choroiditis due to tuberculosis, sarcoidosis, or Vogt–Koyanagi–Harada disease underwent baseline OCTA ...

Image artefacts in swept-source optical coherence tomography angiography

British Journal of Ophthalmology, 2016
To describe optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) image artefacts in eyes with and without ocular pathologies. The OCTA images of healthy subjects and patients with age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal vascular occlusions were retrospectively reviewed.

Swept-source optical coherence tomography angiography in serpiginous choroiditis

British Journal of Ophthalmology, 2017
Background/AimsTo analyse choroidal vascular density of affected and non-affected areas in active and inactive serpiginouschoroiditis (SC) by means of optical coherence tomography angiography (OCT-A).MethodsIn this cross-sectional and observational study, 22 eyes of 11 patients diagnosed with SC were included.

Swept-Source Optical Coherence Tomography Features of Choroidal Nevi

American Journal of Ophthalmology, 2015
To investigate the morphologic characteristics of choroidal nevi using swept-source optical coherence tomography and compare this with enhanced-depth optical coherence tomography.Retrospective observational case series. One choroidal nevus each from 30 eyes of 30 patients was included and received imaging with swept-source OCT (SS-OCT) and enhanced ...

Introduction to swept source optical coherence tomography angiography

Spektrum der Augenheilkunde, 2017
Swept source optical coherence tomography (OCT) technology and OCT-angiography (OCT-A) are two recent developments that have the potential to significantly change our understanding of retinal pathology and retinal vascular pathophysiology. In order to correctly use these technologies to their full diagnostic potential, a thorough understanding of the ...

Low cost Swept Source Optical Coherence Tomography

2022
Optical coherence tomography (OCT) has revolutionized ophthalmology over the past two decades. Comparable success in other medical and non-medical fields is still prevented by the high cost of OCT. Despite the benefit of OCT for other applications like dermatology, dentistry, and many industrial applications has been demonstrated, a poor cost ...

Swept Source Optical Coherence Tomography and Technology Trends

Latin America Optics and Photonics Conference, 2014
Along with an introduction to OCT technology and applications, we report a broad range of swept-source performances based on a highly-flexible external-cavity laser architecture embodied within a compact butterfly package. Multiple spectral regions (800nm to 1600nm) and sweep frequencies (1kHz to 150kHz) are demonstrated.
