Swept-Source Optical Coherence Tomography Features of Choroidal Nevi
American Journal of Ophthalmology, 2015To investigate the morphologic characteristics of choroidal nevi using swept-source optical coherence tomography and compare this with enhanced-depth optical coherence tomography.Retrospective observational case series. One choroidal nevus each from 30 eyes of 30 patients was included and received imaging with swept-source OCT (SS-OCT) and enhanced ...

Introduction to swept source optical coherence tomography angiography
Spektrum der Augenheilkunde, 2017Swept source optical coherence tomography (OCT) technology and OCT-angiography (OCT-A) are two recent developments that have the potential to significantly change our understanding of retinal pathology and retinal vascular pathophysiology. In order to correctly use these technologies to their full diagnostic potential, a thorough understanding of the ...

Low cost Swept Source Optical Coherence Tomography
2022Optical coherence tomography (OCT) has revolutionized ophthalmology over the past two decades. Comparable success in other medical and non-medical fields is still prevented by the high cost of OCT. Despite the benefit of OCT for other applications like dermatology, dentistry, and many industrial applications has been demonstrated, a poor cost ...

Swept Source Optical Coherence Tomography and Technology Trends
Latin America Optics and Photonics Conference, 2014Along with an introduction to OCT technology and applications, we report a broad range of swept-source performances based on a highly-flexible external-cavity laser architecture embodied within a compact butterfly package. Multiple spectral regions (800nm to 1600nm) and sweep frequencies (1kHz to 150kHz) are demonstrated.
