Serial swept source optical coherence tomography of a cotton wool spot following SARS CoV2 infection

open access: yesIndian Journal of Ophthalmology, 2021
A 33-year-old male presented with history of blurring of vision in the left eye for two months. He was seen by the local ophthalmologist and diagnosed as nongranulomatous anterior uveitis in the left eye with normal fundus.

Correlations among age, sex, axial length, and subfoveal choroidal thickness in the choriocapillaris structure analyzed using multiple en face image averaging optical coherence tomography angiography.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2021
PurposeTo analyze the structure of the choriocapillaris in healthy eyes by using averaged en face images acquired using swept source optical coherence tomography angiography and to examine the changes in the macular profile in relation to age, sex, axial

Choroidal neovascularization associated with combined hamartoma of retina and retinal pigment epithelium: Multimodal imaging

open access: yesIndian Journal of Ophthalmology, 2018
Combined hamartoma of retina and retinal pigment epithelium (CHRRPE) has been considered as a congenital benign entity with evidence of choroidal neovascularization membranes (CNVM) being associated with it in literature.

Phase-stability optimization of swept-source optical coherence tomography [PDF]

open access: yesBiomedical Optics Express, 2018
Phase-resolved imaging of swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) is subject to phase measurement instabilities involved with the sweep variation of a frequency-swept source. In general, optically generated timing references are utilized to track the variations imposed on OCT signals.

Clinical utility of anterior segment swept-source optical coherence tomography in glaucoma

open access: yesOman Journal of Ophthalmology, 2016
Optical coherence tomography (OCT), a noninvasive imaging modality that uses low-coherence light to obtain a high-resolution cross-section of biological structures, has evolved dramatically over the years.

Laser Lens Size Measurement Using Swept-Source Optical Coherence Tomography

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
A high-speed, high-resolution swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) is presented for focusing lens imaging and a k-domain uniform algorithm is adopted to find the wave number phase equalization.

Application and progress of swept source optical coherence tomography in choroid-related diseases

open access: yesYanke Xuebao
Central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) is one of the choroidal spectrum diseases, characterized by choriod thickening and increased vascular permeability. Therefore it is very important to observe choroid, as this allows us to monitor it and formulate an

Real-Time Experimental Measurement of Swept Source VCSEL Properties Relevant to OCT Imaging

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2017
A real-time study of the dynamic properties of a frequency swept vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) is presented. Such tunable laser sources have previously been shown to provide long coherence lengths and improved performance in metrology ...

Subclinical Optic Nerve Involvement in Radiologically Isolated Syndrome: Multimodal Detection and Diagnostic Impact

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives We aimed to determine the frequency of subclinical optic nerve (ON) lesions using MRI, optical coherence tomography (OCT), and visual evoked potentials (VEP) in radiologically isolated syndrome (RIS), and to assess their diagnostic and prognostic significance.

Swept-source visible-light optical coherence tomography

open access: yesOptics Letters
We demonstrate the feasibility of swept-source visible-light optical coherence tomography (SS-vis-OCT). We used a fanout periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) crystal for second harmonic generation (SHG) to convert a commercial near-infrared swept-source (NIR-SS) laser into a visible-light SS laser.
