Type I noise storms constitute a sizeable faction of the active-Sun radio emission component. Observations of isolated instances of such bursts, in the swept-frequency-mode at metric wavelengths, have remained sparse, with several unfilled regions in the

Light‐Responsive Enzyme‐Loaded Nanoparticles for Tunable Adhesion and Mechanical Wound Contraction
This study presents a photoactivatable enzyme‐loaded mesoporous nanoparticle system (MPDA_PaTy) that enables light‐triggered tunable tissue adhesion and facilitates mechanical wound contraction. Controlled enzymatic crosslinking at tissue or hydrogel interfaces allows on‐demand adhesion.

Photonic Engineering Enables All‐Passive Upconversion Imaging with Low‐Intensity Near‐Infrared Light
A passive upconversion imaging system enables the observation of scenes illuminated by low‐intensity incoherent near‐infrared light from 750 to 930 nm, by converting it into the visible without the use of external power. The upconverter is enabled by triplet–triplet annihilation in a bulk heterojunction, with absorption enhanced by plasmonic resonators

Broadband High-Linear FMCW Light Source Based on Spectral Stitching
The key to realizing a high-performance frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) laser frequency-sweeping light source is how to extend the frequency-swept bandwidth and eliminate the effect of nonlinearity.

GeAl2‐2xFe2xO3(OH)4 Nanotubes: New Electrocatalyst for Oxygen Evolution Reaction
Fe‐doped imogolite nanotubes are synthesized via a one‐step hydrothermal method with varying Fe substitution ratios x. Structural and spectroscopic analyses confirm homogeneous Fe incorporation while preserving tubular shape. Optimal doping at x = 0.05 enhances optical absorption, narrows band gap, reduces charge transfer resistance, and significantly ...

An evaluation of preliminary Doppler global velocimetry measurements [PDF]
A review of Doppler Global Velocimetry (DGV) data obtained during wind tunnel tests on a 75 degree swept delta wing was performed. High frequency variations observed in normalized data files are attributed to image alignment problems.

Acoustically swept rotor [PDF]
Impulsive noise reduction is provided in a rotor blade by acoustically sweeping the chord line from root to tip so that the acoustic radiation resulting from the summation of potential singularities used to model the flow about the blade tend to cancel ...

Peptide Sequencing With Single Acid Resolution Using a Sub‐Nanometer Diameter Pore
To sequence a single molecule of Aβ1−42–sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), the aggregate is forced through a sub‐nanopore 0.4 nm in diameter spanning a 4.0 nm thick membrane. The figure is a visual molecular dynamics (VMD) snapshot depicting the translocation of Aβ1−42–SDS through the pore; only the peptide, the SDS, the Na+ (yellow/green) and Cl− (cyan ...
