Capacitor mismatch compensation for the quasi-passive switched-capacitor DAC
A method to eliminate the effect of capacitor mismatch for a switched-capacitor DAC is described. The method consists of two elements. The first element is the use of a compensating switching algorithm, which can eliminate the effect of capacitor ...

Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy in Bionanotechnology: Current Advances and Future Perspectives
Kelvin probe force microscopy (KPFM) enables the nanoscale mapping of electrostatic surface potentials. While widely applied in materials science, its use in biological systems remains emerging. This review presents recent advances in KPFM applied to biological samples and provides a critical perspective on current limitations and future directions for

A new switched-capacitor inverter for electric vehicles
This paper presents a new switched-capacitor inverter circuit based on partial charging. A number of switched-capacitor inverter circuits have been developed, but most of them are based on switching of fully charged capacitors in specific sequence to ...

Highly water‐soluble dicationic bis(indolium) dyes have been prepared, showing excellent two‐photon absorption and light emission. Their fluorescence behavior discloses an unusual increasing blue shift with increasing solvent polarity, which, in parallel, is beneficial for enhanced detection in biological media.

Switched-opamp technique for low-voltage switched capacitor circuits
A switched capacitor circuit is described that uses two switchable operational amplifiers that operate in parallel and in alternate clock phases. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the two operational amplifiers may be implemented by a single ...

Magnetic doping of the topological insulator Bi2Te3 with erbium adatoms induces out‐of‐plane magnetism and breaks time‐reversal symmetry, opening a Dirac gap and driving a Fermi surface transition from hexagonal to star‐of‐David geometry. Microscopy, spectroscopy, and magnetic dichroism reveal atomically controlled magnetic interactions that tailor the

Linear switched-capacitor circuit theorems
This paper presents an analysis approach of switched-capacitor circuits, using circuit theorems. It defines the concepts of phasor and impedance, it extends many network theorems to switched-capacitor circuits, and it gives examples of their use in ...

Dual Resonant Switched-Capacitor Polarity Inverter [PDF]
This thesis presents a new dual resonant switched-capacitor converter topology that inverts the polarity of input voltages and can regulate the gain continuously between 0 and –1, even at light load operation.
