Leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models for Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cancer immunotherapy faces challenges in predicting treatment responses and understanding resistance mechanisms. Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) offer powerful solutions for cancer immunotherapy in patient stratification, biomarker discovery, treatment strategy optimization, and foundation model development.

Machine Learning‐Driven Prediction of Microplastic Aging Processes and Environmental Risk Assessment Across Multi‐Media Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This perspective proposes a cohesive machine learning strategy to decode microplastic aging. It advocates for Federated Learning to dismantle global data silos and introduces the TRACE framework (TRansport, Aging, Corona, Ecotoxicity). By integrating physics‐informed modeling with causal discovery, this approach bridges the laboratory‐field gap to ...

An Overview of Position Sensorless Techniques for Switched Reluctance Machine Systems

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
Accurate real-time rotor position is indispensable for switched reluctance motors (SRM) speed and torque control. Traditional position sensors add complexity and potential failure risk to the system.

The Challenge of Handling Structured Missingness in Integrated Data Sources

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
As data integration becomes ever more prevalent, a new research question that emerges is how to handle missing values that will inevitably arise in these large‐scale integrated databases? This missingness can be described as structured missingness, encompassing scenarios involving multivariate missingness mechanisms and deterministic, nonrandom ...

Numerical and Analytical Modeling of Switched Reluctance Machines

open access: yesJournal of Computers, 2012
Switched reluctance motor (SRM) has many specific advantages and has being gradually used in many kinds of applications. However, because it’s inherently multivariable, strong coupling and highly nonlinear, there are lots of difficulties to build its model.

Multi-Objective Optimization of Switched Reluctance Machine Design Using Jaya Algorithm (MO-Jaya)

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
The switched reluctance machine (SRM) design is different from the design of most of other machines. SRM has many design parameters that have non-linear relationships with the performance indices (i.e., average torque, efficiency, and so forth).

Self‐Sensing Artificial‐Muscle‐Empowered Humanlike Perception, Interaction, and Positioning

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
The proposed self‐sensorized artificial muscle (SSAM) can sense its length change as small as 0.01 mm via a seamlessly integrated multi‐segment induction coil. The SSAM provides accurate length information regardless of its loadings, driving pressure, or muscle design, adequate for robust data‐driven feedback control.

Debunking the Myth: A Dive Into the Role of Relational Capital in Sustainable Food Production Systems

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The shift towards sustainable food production is essential to address the urgent dual challenges of climate change and population growth, with agricultural cooperatives playing a vital role in this transformation. However, many cooperatives struggle to deliver the expected value to their members.
