The unconventional UHF (Ultra High Frequency) method of measuring partial discharges (PD) is based on measuring electromagnetic waves (EM) in the UHF frequency band (300-3000) MHz, using appropriate antennas.

ABSTRACT The breakdown characteristics of the novel eco‐friendly insulating gas CF3SO2F are fundamental to the design of gas‐insulated equipment. In this paper, the gas mixture parameters for CF3SO2F were optimised for different ambient temperatures in order to ascertain the insulation performance and liquefaction temperature constraints.

A systematic study of a series of porous organic cages with perfluorinated alkyl side‐chains of different lengths is presented. The structure‐property relationship of the various cages on gas sorption of highly potent greenhouse gases, such as perfluorocarbons (PFCs), sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), and nitrogen trifluoride (NF3) is investigated.
