GIP-SWMM: A new Green Infrastructure Placement Tool coupled with SWMM

Journal of Environmental Management, 2021
A new Green Infrastructure Placement Tool coupled with Storm Water Management Model (GIP-SWMM) is developed for selection and strategic placement of Green Infrastructure (GI) practices. The tool supports GI placement at multiple scales - from a few city blocks to large watersheds.

Efficacy of SWMM Application

Journal of Water Resources Planning and Management, 1991
The stormwater management model (SWMM) is applied to a 10-sq-mi urbanized residential area. The application is intentionally constrained to a rather gross spatial scale (no modeling of storm sewer transport) in order to mimic anticipated regional modeling efforts.

SWMM Stormwater Pollutant Washoff Functions

Journal of the Environmental Engineering Division, 1978
In the classical theory of elasticity, one of the celebrated methods for solving boundary value problems regarding an isotropic homogeneous linear elastic continuum is the method of Galerkin's vector. However, the set of governing equations to be solved is a system of N partial differential equations, N being the number of spatial dimension.

SWMM: Secure Wireless Mobility Management

2010 17th International Conference on Telecommunications, 2010
Mesh technology has captured the interest of university research and industry, because of its capacity to meet at the same time the requirements of suppliers of wireless access to Internet and of users. But, the architecture and the configuration of this type of network do not ensure a protection against the unauthorized use of the network since the ...

Expert System for Calibrating Swmm

Journal of Water Resources Planning and Management, 1989
EPA'S Storm Water Management Model (SWMM) simulates all aspects of the hydrologic and quality cycles. Using expert system technology, an interactive user‐support framework has been developed to automate the calibration of the runoff block. It acts as a front end to assist the user in the initial estimation of the parameter values and in building the ...
