The Plant‐to‐Plant Circular Strategy: Coupling Photodegradation and Phytoremediation With Plant‐Based Nanomaterials for Plastic Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Plant‐based nanomaterials derived from alfalfa serve as dual‐function catalysts, coupling photodegradation and phytoremediation to degrade polyethylene under UV‐A light and in soil. The nanomaterials work synergistically with alfalfa and soil microbes, achieving efficient plastic breakdown without trophic transfer.

A Rigid–Foldable Kirigami‐Inspired Metamorphic Mechanism With Programmable Motion Modes and Self‐Locking

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Geometric constraint reconfiguration enables a rigid–foldable kirigami‐inspired mechanism to switch between twisting, directional translation, and self‐locking states. By encoding multifunctionality directly into its architecture, the mechanism achieves multimodal motion and passive locking without reassembly, providing a compact platform for adaptive ...

A Personalized Haplotype‐Resolved Near‐Gapless Genome Framework for Somatic Variant Discovery in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A patient‐specific, haplotype‐resolved genome framework improves detection and interpretation of somatic variants in hepatocellular carcinoma. Using multi‐platform sequencing, the personalized assembly resolves complex regions including centromeres and MHC/HLA loci, enhances structural variant discovery, and links regulatory alterations to allele ...

Porous Ultralow‐κ sp2‐Bonded Boron Nitride Thin Films as Copper Diffusion Barriers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Porous sp2‐bonded boron nitride (p‐BN) thin films with an ultralow dielectric constant (κ = 1.77) are directly grown on Si substrates via RF magnetron sputtering. The films feature uniform nanopores (1.85 nm), high mechanical stability, hydrophobicity, and excellent Cu diffusion barrier performance even at 3 nm thickness, offering a promising solution ...

Photoelectric Imaging of the Optically Inactive Charge State of Silicon‐Vacancy Defects in Diamond

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Although the doubly negative charge state of the SiV center in diamond is predicted to ionize only in the ultraviolet and is therefore considered optically inaccessible, we demonstrate visible‐range photoelectric imaging enabled by a previously unrecognized regime of laser‐assisted tunneling. ABSTRACT The investigation of optically active point defects
