Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Combinatorics of k-shapes and Genocchi numbers [PDF]
In this paper we present a work in progress on a conjectural new combinatorial model for the Genocchi numbers. This new model called irreducible k-shapes has a strong algebraic background in the theory of symmetric functions and leads to seemingly new ...

Indecomposable modules for the dual immaculate basis of quasi-symmetric functions [PDF]
We construct indecomposable modules for the 0-Hecke algebra whose characteristics are the dual immaculate basis of the quasi-symmetric functions.

Cytoplasmic p21 promotes stemness of colon cancer cells via activation of the NFκB pathway
Cytoplasmic p21 promotes colorectal cancer stem cell (CSC) features by destabilizing the NFκB–IκB complex, activating NFκB signaling, and upregulating BCL‐xL and COX2. In contrast to nuclear p21, cytoplasmic p21 enhances spheroid formation and stemness transcription factor CD133.

Inclusion and Neighborhood on a Multivalent q-Symmetric Function with Poisson Distribution Operators
In this paper, by using Poisson distribution probability, some characteristics of analytic multivalent q-symmetric starlike and q-symmetric convex functions of order η are examined.

Stability properties of Plethysm: new approach with combinatorial proofs (Extended abstract) [PDF]
Plethysm coefficients are important structural constants in the theory of symmetric functions and in the representations theory of symmetric groups and general linear groups.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

CKP Hierarchy, Bosonic Tau Function and Bosonization Formulae
We develop the theory of CKP hierarchy introduced in the papers of Kyoto school [Date E., Jimbo M., Kashiwara M., Miwa T., J. Phys. Soc. Japan 50 (1981), 3806-3812] (see also [Kac V.G., van de Leur J.W., Adv. Ser. Math. Phys., Vol. 7, World Sci.

Generalized Polarization Modules (extended abstract) [PDF]
This work enrols the research line of M. Haiman on the Operator Theorem (the old operator conjecture). This theorem states that the smallest $\mathfrak{S}_n$-module closed under taking partial derivatives and closed under the action of polarization ...

A convolution for complete and elementary symmetric functions [PDF]
In this paper we give a convolution identity for complete and elementary symmetric functions. This result can be used to prove and discover some combinatorial identities involving r-Stirling numbers, r-Whitney numbers and q-binomial coefficients.
