Engineered Interface and Spatial Arrangement of Inorganic Components for Dendrite‐Free Li Anodes in Carbonate‐Based Electrolyte

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A solid‐state ion exchange strategy constructs dentrimental Li2CO3 into a high‐modulus, high‐surface‐energy interface to enable dendrite‐free deposition of Li metal anode in the harsh carbonate‐based electrolyte. Abstract The practical application of lithium metal batteries (LMBs) in carbonate‐based electrolytes is hindered by uncontrolled lithium (Li)

Ultrastable Perovskite Encased in a Helical Cage for Tunable Full‐Color Mirror‐Image Circularly Polarized Luminescence

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Develop full‐color colloidal perovskite nanocrystal (PNC) composites using a single organic halide precursor and enhance their stability and emission through zirconium hydrogen phosphate nanosheets (NSs). Achieve high photoluminescence efficiency and dual‐state circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) by embedding stabilized PNCs into a chiral polymer ...

Does a Singular Symmetric Interval Matrix Contain a Symmetric Singular Matrix?

open access: yes, 2019
We consider the conjecture formulated in the title concerning existence of a symmetric singular matrix in a singular symmetric interval matrix. We show by means of a counterexample that it is generally not valid, and we prove that it becomes true under an additional assumption of positive semide niteness of the midpoint matrix.

Light‐Responsive Enzyme‐Loaded Nanoparticles for Tunable Adhesion and Mechanical Wound Contraction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a photoactivatable enzyme‐loaded mesoporous nanoparticle system (MPDA_PaTy) that enables light‐triggered tunable tissue adhesion and facilitates mechanical wound contraction. Controlled enzymatic crosslinking at tissue or hydrogel interfaces allows on‐demand adhesion.
