A methodology for establishing an ontology‐augmented structural digital twin for fiber‐reinforced polymer structures dedicated to individual lifetime prediction, in this case, a wind turbine rotor blade, is introduced. The methodology resembles the manufacturing as well as the operation of the structure.

Geometry and symmetry on Sasakian manifolds
In [26] the second author has given a brief survey about the local generalization to arbitrary Riemannian manifolds of the notion of a reflection with respect to a point, a line or a linear subspace in a Euclidean space. Local symmetries with respect to a point (local geodesic symmetries) are well-known and these local diffeomorphisms are already used ...

Ontologies for FAIR Data in Additive Manufacturing: A Use Case‐Based Evaluation
An ontology‐based approach for generating findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable data in additive manufacturing is explored, focusing on powder bed fusion. The article highlights the benefits of enhanced data findability and digital twin enablement, while addressing challenges like data integration complexity and the need for specialized ...

Mechanisms of De‐icing by Surface Rayleigh and Plate Lamb Acoustic Waves
Ice accretion impacts daily life, renewable energy generation, maintenance, and security in industries and aeronautics. Acoustic waves (AW) are a promising method for ice removal, although de‐icing mechanisms require further investigation to optimize energy efficiency.

Bioinspired Design of Isotropic Lattices with Tunable and Controllable Anisotropy
This study introduces nested isotropic lattices, integrating architectural elements like nesting orders and orientations inspired by bioarchitectures. The design enables tunable anisotropy across nine mono‐nest and twenty multi‐nest lattices with 252 parametric variations, demonstrating transitions from shear‐ to tensile‐compression‐dominant behaviors ...

Mechanical metamaterials capable of compressive stiffness tunability, shape morphing, and post‐fabrication modularity. Herein, the 3D unit cell design is based on an assembly of bistable von Mises trusses that exhibit a switch in compressive stiffness and resting height from one stable state to the other.

Evolution of Axially Symmetric Anisotropic Sources in $f(R,T)$ Gravity
We discuss the dynamical analysis in $f(R,T)$ gravity (where $R$ is Ricci scalar and $T$ is trace of energy momentum tensor) for gravitating sources carrying axial symmetry.

The General Linear Cartan Khronon
A Cartan geometry of the General Linear symmetry is formulated by dividing out the displacements from the group. The resulting action is quadratic in curvature, polynomial in all the (minimal) variables, and describes an observer space that—in the ...

Symmetries and geometry in general relativity
AbstractThis paper provides a geometrical discussion of affine (including isometric and homothetic), conformal and curvature symmetries in space-time. Emphasis is laid more on a systematic presentation of the material rather than the accumulation of exact solutions of Einstein's equations. A review of recent work is given and some new results presented.
