GAUGE SYMMETRY BREAKING IN A THROAT GEOMETRY [PDF]
We analyze behavior of D3-branes in BGMPZ throat geometry. We show that although single brane has some of the moduli stabilized multi-brane system tends to expand and form a bound state. Such a system loses non-Abelian gauge symmetry. The described mechanism is an example of gauge symmetry breaking triggered by SUSY breaking.

Acoustic emissions during direct laser interference patterning are shown to strongly correlate with surface texture depth. By implementing a closed‐loop control system utilizing acoustic feedback, consistent microstructures with uniform depth are achieved despite laser power fluctuations.

Symmetries and conservation laws of Hamiltonian systems [PDF]
In this paper we study the infinitesimal symmetries, Newtonoid vector fields, infinitesimal Noether symmetries and conservation laws of Hamiltonian systems. Using the dynamical covariant derivative and Jacobi endomorphism on the cotangent bundle we find the invariant equations of infinitesimal symmetries and Newtonoid vector fields and prove that the ...

A construction of non--flat non--homogeneous symmetric parabolic geometries [PDF]
We construct a series of examples of non--flat non--homogeneous parabolic geometries that carry a symmetry of the parabolic geometry at each point.

Geometry and symmetries of null G-structures [PDF]
We present a definition of null G-structures on Lorentzian manifolds and investigate their geometric properties. This definition includes the Robinson structure on 4-dimensional black holes as well as the null structures that appear in all supersymmetric solutions of supergravity theories.

This study explores aerosol jet‐printed (AJP) surface roughness, its effects on the performance of microwave electronics, and its process contributors. First, an electromagnetic model is vetted for AJP's unique roughness signature. Simulations are built which show process‐induced roughness is as significant as conductor resistivity in driving microwave
