Symmetry of Square Contingency Tables Using Simplicial Geometry
Two-way contingency tables illustrate the relationship between two discrete variables. Their corresponding probability tables can be regarded as an element in a simplex.

Quantum gauge symmetries in noncommutative geometry
We discuss generalizations of the notion of i) the group of unitary elements of a (real or complex) finite-dimensional C*-algebra, ii) gauge transformations and iii) (real) automorphisms in the framework of compact quantum group theory and spectral triples.

F-theory on quotients of elliptic Calabi-Yau threefolds
In this work we consider quotients of elliptically fibered Calabi-Yau threefolds by freely acting discrete groups and the associated physics of F-theory compactifications on such backgrounds.

Mirror symmetry and tropical geometry [PDF]
Using tropical geometry we propose a mirror construction for monomial degenerations of Calabi-Yau varieties in toric Fano varieties. The construction reproduces the mirror constructions by Batyrev for Calabi-Yau hypersurfaces and by Batyrev and Borisov for Calabi-Yau complete intersections. We apply the construction to Pfaffian examples and recover the

Families of algebraic varieties that are parametrized by monomials appear in various areas of mathematics, such as statistics, commutative algebra and combinatorics. Such varieties are referred to as toric varieties and they are the structural objects of toric geometry. The ideals defining toric varieties are prime binomial ideals.

Multi-invariants and bulk replica symmetry
In this paper, we analyze the question of replica symmetry in the bulk for multi-partite entanglement measures in the vacuum state of two dimensional holographic CFTs.

Di-μ-sulfato-bis{[bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)methane]copper(II)}
The molecule of the title compound, [Cu2(SO4)2(C11H16N4)2], sits on a center of symmetry. The CuII atom has a distorted trigonal–bipyramidal coordination geometry comprising three O atoms of the two symmetry-related SO42− anions and two N ...
