Antinomies of Symmetry and Information
There are several apparent antinomies within the studies of information, symmetry, and the mutual relationship between symmetry and information. These antinomies are only apparent as the antinomial opposition of statements about information, symmetry ...

Improved staggered quark actions with reduced flavour symmetry violations for lattice QCD [PDF]
We introduce a new class of actions for staggered quarks in lattice QCD which significantly reduce flavour symmetry violations in the pion mass spectrum. An action introduced by the MILC collaboration for the same purpose is seen to be a special case. We

Novel solutions of general and reverse space-time nonlocal coupled integrable dispersionless systems
In this paper, we have studied a general coupled integrable dispersionless (CID) system and obtained nontrivial solutions in terms of the ratio of determinants by using matrix Darboux transformation.

New Technique For Reducing Symmetry Mapping In Colored FIC Based on Moments Features [PDF]
This paper studded the effect of symmetry mapping process on thecompression parameters of the fractal color image compression by momentfeatures was studded. Feature of moment utilized to reduction the symmetry mapping from 8 to only one. The operation of

Symmetry and Symplectic Reduction
This encyclopedia article briefly reviews without proofs some of the main results in symplectic reduction. The article recalls most the necessary prerequisites to understand the main results, namely, group actions, momentum maps, and coadjoint orbits, among others.

The symmetry reduction of variational integrals [PDF]
Summary: The Routh reduction of cyclic variables in the Lagrange function and the Jacobi-Maupertuis principle of constant energy systems are generalized. The article deals with one-dimensional variational integral subject to differential constraints, the Lagrange variational problem, that admits the Lie group of symmetries. Reduction to the orbit space

Symmetry reduction of loop quantum gravity [PDF]
The relation between standard Loop Quantum Cosmology and full Loop Quantum Gravity fails already at the first nontrivial step: The configuration space of Loop Quantum Cosmology can not be embedded into the configuration space of full Loop Quantum Gravity due to a topological obstruction.

Scaling symmetries, contact reduction and Poincaré’s dream
Abstract We state conditions under which a symplectic Hamiltonian system admitting a certain type of symmetry (a scaling symmetry) may be reduced to a type of contact Hamiltonian system, on a space of one less dimension. We observe that such contact reductions underly the well-known McGehee blow-up process from classical mechanics.

Mechanical Systems: Symmetry and Reduction [PDF]
Reduction theory is concerned with mechanical systems with symmetries. It constructs a lower dimensional reduced space in which associated conservation laws are taken out and symmetries are \factored out" and studies the relation between the dynamics ...

Symmetry reductions of the (3+1) $(3+1)$-dimensional modified Zakharov–Kuznetsov equation
This paper is concerned with the symmetry reductions of the (3+1) $(3+ 1)$-dimensional modified Zakharov–Kuznetsov equation of ion-acoustic waves in a magnetized plasma.
