Portable Low‐Field Magnetic Resonance Imaging in People With Human Immunodeficiency Virus
ABSTRACT Objective The aging population of people with HIV (PWH) raises heightened concerns regarding accelerated aging and dementia. Portable, low‐field MRI (LF‐MRI) is an innovative technology that could enhance access and facilitate routine monitoring of PWH.

Involution and symmetry reductions
The author discusses the completion of a system of differential equations to an involutive one. Applications of the concept of involution to symmetry theory are considered. The author studies local solvability of differential equations, gauge symmetry, and reduction of a system of ordinary differential equations.

ABSTRACT Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP) is an immune‐mediated neuropathy featuring progressive weakness, sensory deficits, and areflexia. While corticosteroids, intravenous immunoglobulin, and plasmapheresis are effective first‐line immunotherapies, a subset of patients remains treatment‐refractory.

Symmetry reductions for thin film type equations [PDF]
The lubrication equation ut = (u nuxxx)x plays an important role in the study of the interface movements. In this work we analyze the generalizations of the above equation given by ut = (u nuxxx)x − kumux.

Lessons Learned From a Delayed‐Start Trial of Modafinil for Freezing of Gait in Parkinson's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Freezing of gait (FOG) in people with Parkinson's disease (PwPD) is debilitating and has limited treatments. Modafinil modulates beta/gamma band activity in the pedunculopontine nucleus (PPN), like PPN deep brain stimulation. We therefore tested the hypothesis that Modafinil would improve FOG in PwPD.

G $$ \mathcal{G} $$ -structure symmetries and anomalies in (1, 0) non-linear σ-models
A new symmetry of (1, 0) supersymmetric non-linear σ-models in two dimensions with Fermi and mass sectors is introduced. It is a generalisation of the so-called special holonomy W-symmetry of Howe and Papadopoulos associated with structure group ...

Nonlocal-derivative NLS equations and group-invariant soliton solutions
A coupled Chen–Lee–Liu (CLL) system is proposed and its linear Lax pair is given. Many kinds of nonlocal-derivative NLS (DNLS) equations arise from the group symmetry reductions of the coupled CLL system.

Conditional Lie-B\"acklund symmetry and reduction of evolution equations.
We suggest a generalization of the notion of invariance of a given partial differential equation with respect to Lie-B\"acklund vector field. Such generalization proves to be effective and enables us to construct principally new Ans\"atze reducing ...

Whole‐Body Pattern of Muscle Degeneration and Progression in Sarcoglycanopathies
ABSTRACT Objective To characterize whole‐body intramuscular fat distribution pattern in patients with sarcoglycanopathies and explore correlations with disease severity, duration and age at onset. Methods Retrospective, cross‐sectional, multicentric study enrolling patients with variants in one of the four sarcoglycan genes who underwent whole‐body ...

A nonlinear differential equation is considered for describing nonlinear waves in a liquid with gas bubbles. Classical and nonclassical symmetries of this equation are investigated. It is shown that the considered equation admits transformations in space
