Multi-mode bosonic Gaussian channels [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
A complete analysis of multi-mode bosonic Gaussian channels is proposed. We clarify the structure of unitary dilations of general Gaussian channels involving any number of bosonic modes and present a normal form.

Holomorphic field theories and higher algebra

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 57, Issue 10, Page 2903-2974, October 2025.
Abstract Aimed at complex geometers and representation theorists, this survey explores higher dimensional analogs of the rich interplay between Riemann surfaces, Virasoro and Kac‐Moody Lie algebras, and conformal blocks. We introduce a panoply of examples from physics — field theories that are holomorphic in nature, such as holomorphic Chern‐Simons ...

N=8 Supergravity with Local Scaling Symmetry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
We construct maximal supergravity in four dimensions with local scaling symmetry as deformation of the original Cremmer-Julia theory. The different theories which include the standard gaugings are parametrized by an embedding tensor carrying 56+912 ...

Stochastic Multisymplectic PDEs and Their Structure‐Preserving Numerical Methods

open access: yesStudies in Applied Mathematics, Volume 155, Issue 3, September 2025.
ABSTRACT We construct stochastic multisymplectic systems by considering a stochastic extension to the variational formulation of multisymplectic partial differential equations proposed in Hydon [Proceedings of the Royal Society A: Mathematical, Physical and Engineering Sciences, 461 (2005): 1627–1637].

Agricultural commodity futures prices prediction based on a new hybrid forecasting model combining quadratic decomposition technology and LSTM model

open access: yesFrontiers in Sustainable Food Systems
The stability of agricultural futures market is of great significance to social economy and agri-cultural development. In view of the complexity of the fluctuation of agricultural futures prices, it is challenging to make up for the shortcomings of the ...

Poisson Geometry in Constrained Systems

open access: yes, 2002
Constrained Hamiltonian systems fall into the realm of presymplectic geometry. We show, however, that also Poisson geometry is of use in this context.

Exponential actions defined by vector configurations, Gale duality, and moment‐angle manifolds

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 57, Issue 9, Page 2571-2629, September 2025.
Abstract Exponential actions defined by vector configurations provide a universal framework for several constructions of holomorphic dynamics, non‐Kähler complex geometry, toric geometry and topology. These include leaf spaces of holomorphic foliations, intersections of real and Hermitian quadrics, the quotient construction of simplicial toric ...

Accuracy-Improved Fault Diagnosis Method for Rolling Bearing Based on Enhanced ESGMD-CC and BA-ELM Model

open access: yesShock and Vibration
The current methods for early fault diagnosis of rolling bearing have some flaws, such as poor fault feature information and insufficient fault feature extraction capability, which makes it challenging to guarantee fault diagnosis accuracy.

(2,0) theory on circle fibrations

open access: yes, 2011
We consider (2,0) theory on a manifold M_6 that is a fibration of a spatial S^1 over some five-dimensional base manifold M_5. Initially, we study the free (2,0) tensor multiplet which can be described in terms of classical equations of motion in six ...

Functorial constructions related to double Poisson vertex algebras

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 112, Issue 3, September 2025.
Abstract For any double Poisson algebra, we produce a double Poisson vertex algebra using the jet algebra construction. We show that this construction is compatible with the representation functor which associates to any double Poisson (vertex) algebra and any positive integer a Poisson (vertex) algebra.
