Symplectic Elimination

We develop the symplectic elimnation algorithm. This algorithm using simple row operations reduce a symplectic matrix to a diagonal matrix. This algorithm gives rise to a decomposition of an arbitrary matrix into a product of a symplectic matrix and a reduced matrix.

Symplectic Bregman Divergences

We present a generalization of Bregman divergences in finite-dimensional symplectic vector spaces that we term symplectic Bregman divergences. Symplectic Bregman divergences are derived from a symplectic generalization of the Fenchel–Young inequality which relies on the notion of symplectic subdifferentials.
