Beta Forecasting With Realized Beta Estimators and Machine Learning Algorithms
Journal of Forecasting, EarlyView.ABSTRACT This paper applies machine learning algorithms to the modeling of realized betas for the purposes of forecasting stock systematic risk. Higher levels of beta forecast accuracy are demonstrated, relative to other studies in the literature. These improvements are also highly significant, both statistically and economically.

The Impact of Monetary Policy Shocks on Stock Price Crash Risk
International Journal of Finance &Economics, EarlyView.ABSTRACT This study examines the impact of monetary policy shocks (MPS) on future stock price crash risk (SPCR), using a sample of US firms from 1995 to 2019. Fiscal Policy Regimes in Resource‐Rich Economies
Journal of Applied Econometrics, EarlyView.ABSTRACT We analyse fiscal policy in resource‐rich economies using a novel Bayesian regime‐switching panel model. The identified regimes capture pro‐ or countercyclical fiscal behaviour by allowing regime‐specific shifts in the average fiscal stance, while the switches between the regimes have the interpretation of changes in fiscal policy.
