Time Synchronization under Temperature and Distance Variations

2017 VII Brazilian Symposium on Computing Systems Engineering (SBESC), 2017
The Trustful Space-Time Protocol (TSTP) allows for time synchronization to be performed upon receiving any message from another node in a sensor network, removing the need for explicit synchronization messages. Previous work has shown that TSTP performs well under controlled experimental environments.

Variation in defibrillation modes after synchronized cardioversion:

Resuscitation, 1997
Abstract We conducted a survey of all defibrillators currently on the European market that offer synchronized cardioversion. The mode after cardioversion can be classed into one of four categories: (1) remain in synchronized mode; (2) defer to asynchronized mode; (3) `intelligent'; and (4) configurable.

Variation in S phase in synchronous human cell lines

In Vitro, 1979
Growth parameters of diploid and trisomic human fibroblasts were determined. The rate of growth of both classes of cells was examined in asynchronous cultures, and diploid and trisomic cells had similar growth rates. Synchronous cultures were developed using simple mitotic selection.

Multi-Source Latency Variation Synchronization for Collaborative Applications

2010 IEEE Global Telecommunications Conference GLOBECOM 2010, 2010
Various distributed multi-source applications such as 3D Virtual Immersive Systems (3DVIS), 2D/3D Videoconferencing, Multi-party games, etc. require the construction of a multicast overlay through which the video blocks are streamed from source to receiver. The most general multicast model involves a single source and a set of receiver nodes also known

Variation in Synchronic Development of Literature: Mutual Learning

Cultura, 2022
Abstract: This paper analyzes the processes of cross-lingual, transnational, and crosscultural communication and interaction of world literary classics. The author argues that world literary classics are actually the result of the variation of the exchanges between various “ethnic” literatures.

Online Adaptive Synchronous BCI System with Attention Variations

2019
In real-life scenarios, outside of the laboratory setting, the performance of brain-computer interface (BCI) systems is influenced by the user’s mental state such as attentional diversion. Here, we propose a novel online BCI system able to adapt with variations in the users’ attention during real-time movement execution.
