A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, Volume 39, Issue 3, Page 566-581, March 2025.
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

Multifunctional Crushing and Piezoresistive Self‐Sensing in Conductive Epoxy/CNT‐Coated Polyetherimide TPMS Lattices

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study reports lightweight polyetherimide triply periodic minimal surfaces lattices coated with carbon nanotube‐reinforced epoxy that combine mechanical robustness with self‐sensing. The conformal coating enhances stiffness, strength and energy absorption while enabling reliable strain monitoring.

Cebyšev’s type inequalities for positive linear maps of selfadjoint operators in Hilbert spaces [PDF]

open access: yesMathematica Moravica, 2017
Some inequalities for positive linear maps of continuous synchronous (asynchronous) functions of selfadjoint linear operators in Hilbert spaces, under suitable assumptions for the involved operators, are given.

Chebyshev Type Integral Inequalities Involving the Fractional Hypergeometric Operators

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
By making use of the fractional hypergeometric operators, we establish certain new fractional integral inequalities for synchronous functions which are related to the weighted version of the Chebyshev functional. Some consequent results and special cases

Isogeometric Analysis and Harmonic Stator-Rotor Coupling for Simulating Electric Machines

open access: yes, 2017
This work proposes Isogeometric Analysis as an alternative to classical finite elements for simulating electric machines. Through the spline-based Isogeometric discretization it is possible to parametrize the circular arcs exactly, thereby avoiding any ...
