Small-Signal Stability Research of Grid-Connected Virtual Synchronous Generators

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
The virtual synchronous generator (VSG) technique is used to simulate the external characteristics of a synchronous generator (SG) to provide certain damping and inertia to power systems.

Cytoplasmic p21 promotes stemness of colon cancer cells via activation of the NFκB pathway

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytoplasmic p21 promotes colorectal cancer stem cell (CSC) features by destabilizing the NFκB–IκB complex, activating NFκB signaling, and upregulating BCL‐xL and COX2. In contrast to nuclear p21, cytoplasmic p21 enhances spheroid formation and stemness transcription factor CD133.

Low‐frequency oscillation damping strategy for power system based on virtual dual‐input power system stabilizer

open access: yesIET Renewable Power Generation
To keep pace with the construction of the new‐type power system, virtual synchronous generator control, as a classical method of virtual inertia control, has been widely adopted due to its electromechanical characteristics similar to synchronous ...

Mathematical and simulation modeling of a synchronous generator for micro hydroelectric and low-speed wind power plants [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
In this article, in conditions where environmental deterioration and energy shortages are observed throughout the world, a mathematical model for improving and developing new types of synchronous generators for low-speed wind power plants and micro ...

Effect of chemotherapy on passenger mutations in metastatic colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Changes in passenger mutation load and predicted immunotherapy response after chemotherapy treatment. Tumor cells rich with passenger mutations have increased sensitivity to chemotherapy. Correlation of passenger mutations with neoantigen load suggests highly mutated clones promote a more effective response to immunotherapy, and therefore, first‐line ...

Experimental investigations using quadratic‐tripping characteristics based on alienation/coherence coefficients of voltage and current signals for synchronous generators protection

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, 2021
A protection scheme is proposed using alienation method derived from coherence model which is a backup protection method for the differential overcurrent protection of synchronous generators.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Day/night variations of myeloid and lymphoid cell subsets in the murine inguinal lymph node

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The circadian system is involved in the temporal regulation of the immune system. Our study reveals that two innate immune populations, NKT cells and neutrophils, predominate at the beginning of the day in healthy mice, highlighting how the time of day influences immune responses.

The algorithm for the detection of loss of excitation of synchronous generator with an admittance characteristic in a time domain [PDF]

open access: yesTehnika, 2018
Protection of the loss of excitation has a task to detect the loss of excitation of the synchronous generator and disconnect the generator from the network before it loses stability and out of synchronism. The paper presents a new algorithm for detecting
