Theoretically, this study provides new insights into the atomic‐level adsorption mechanisms and structure‐property‐function relationships of sulfonated COFs for boosting ammonia nitrogen separation. Practically, the findings of this study can guide the design and optimization of COFs and other porous crystalline adsorbents to enhance the capture and ...

A simple and effective non‐solvent‐induced microstructure rearrangement (MSR) technique is proposed to enhance the gas separation performance of Pebax 2533 membranes. By immersing Pebax 2533 membranes in amino acid salt solutions to induce MSR, the CO2 permeability of the Pebax 2533‐GlyK 10 wt.% membrane reached 1180 Barrer.

A spray‐growth method is developed to rapidly load cobalt‐phthalocyanine crystals onto carbon paper (CoPc/CP). The electrode maintains > 90% CO selectivity across potentials (−0.57–−1.32 V vs. RHE), achieving a record JCO (−1034 mA cm−2), ultra‐high mass activity (5180 A g−1), and excellent stability (145 h@−150mA cm−2), surpassing all reported Pc ...

Dynamic Cap‐Mediated Substrate Access and Potent Inhibitor Design of Monkeypox Virus I7L Protease
The first crystal structure of MPXV I7L protease, revealing its unique dimeric form is resolved. The structures and MD simulations uncovered a dynamic cap region that regulates substrate access to the active site. The structural basis of substrate recognition and the catalytic mechanism are elucidated, which led to the development of a FRET‐based assay

Transition metal (TM) slab gliding is a key process for activating anionic redox reaction in P‐type layered oxide materials. Disordered TM layer weakens interlayer interactions and facilitates TM slab gliding. The resulting O‐type layer promotes reversible TM migration, provides the necessary Na–O–□TM configuration, and activates anionic redox reaction.

The manuscript designs a type of SA Mn‐CDs with low coordination Mn‐N2 configuration hydrothermally synthesized by chelating manganese atoms with ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid. SA Mn‐CDs not only have more active sites at the atomic level for high efficiently peroxidase‐like activity but also show excellent fluorescent ability at the cellular and ...

An amphiphilic open‐shell d/π‐conjugated nickel dithiolate salt forms a bilayer capsule exhibiting uniaxial magnetic anisotropy, driven by spin–spin interactions. The capsule, exceptionally stable in aqueous environments, undergoes temperature‐dependent structural transitions representing, to the knowledge, the first observation of such behavior for ...
